Istilah sunat laser yang beredar di masyarakat Indonesia ini sebenarnya keliru. Menurut dr Mahdian Nur Nasution SpBS, "kekeliruan" dalam sunat laser yang banyak dilakukan yaitu menggunakan alat berupa lempengan logam yang dipanaskan atau disebut sebagi electrocauter. Jadi bukan sinar laser sesungguhnya. nyeri wajah sebelah, seperti trigeminal neuralgia. Keunggulan RFA adalah: Efektif untuk membantu mengurangi nyeri pada punggung, leher, Nyeri akibat peradangan pada sendi (artritis), Mengurangi penggunaan obat oral.
